Your Front Desk Team
Patient Coordinator since 1999
I love the conversations with our patients, catching up on the latest news, and meeting new people. Our patients are my friends and feel like family to me. I’m glad to help people I care about develop healthy and happy smiles. I welcome patients to our office and make sure their visit is a good one. I work with patients to review their proposed treatment plans. I help them with their insurance, too. I also handle patient correspondence and scheduling.
I love spending time with my family, most of whom live only 10 minutes from me. I have a delightful Cockapoo named Bailey. I’m active with my church and their elementary school. I love volunteering to help with costumes and set designs for plays.
Recare Coordinator, Sterilization, and Front Desk since 2011
My coworkers and our patients feel like family to me. I look forward to coming to work because it’s such a pleasant, cheery place, filled with wonderful people and happy smiles. I handle our recare system, and make sure patients come in so they can keep their mouth healthy. I also handle some front-desk duties and love seeing smiling people arriving for their visits. I perform some sterilization duties, too. I do whatever’s needed to keep everything running well.
My husband Jeff and I have two daughters who are in college and studying healthcare. We live in Sandwich and enjoy taking short trips. We love fishing, but are fair-weather fishermen only.
Your Dental Hygienists
Dental Hygienist since 1989
I enjoy helping patients reach their goals of better oral and overall health. Each person has unique needs and desires. I encourage patients to talk about what they want to achieve, and then we work together to make it happen. I take patient histories, examine their mouth, and clean and polish teeth. All the while, I talk with the patient about the correlation between tooth and gum health and the health of their body. I want people to be able to make good decisions and create healthy habits.
I’m a proud mother of three grown children: Lauren, Colin, and Craig. When I’m not working, I love to read, garden, and work around my home on various projects.
Dental Hygienist since 1997
I enjoy building strong relationships with my patients, and learning who they are outside the office. Hearing about their lives and interests creates a bond. It also gives me insight into how I can help them improve their oral health. I review a patient’s medical history, take digital X-rays, and perform scaling, root planing, and polishing. A lot of my day is spent teaching people about their dental health and how they can keep it in great shape.
When not working, my husband Jerry and I love traveling. We enjoy music and attend concerts throughout the year. In the winter we spend a lot of time trying to beat our family in fantasy football. Jerry and I have two Senegal parrots, Edison and Lily.
Dental Hygienist since 2001
I enjoy creating relationships with our patients. I have a caring spirit, and being able to care for and help them makes me happy. My patients feel like family members and I am committed to giving them the best care. While I clean a patient’s teeth, offer non-surgical periodontal treatment, and record their information, I talk about their dental condition. Together, we find ways they can improve their home care and keep their smile healthy.
My two children have paws: I have two cats, Buttons and Ribbons, who are 19 years old. I’m active in my church’s television ministry. My favorite pastimes include reading, movies, and competing in triathlons.
Dental Hygienist since 2003
I enjoy knowing that each of my patients is healthier after coming to see me. I enjoy getting to know my patients as people, learning about their lives and interests, and becoming friends. During visits, I provide preventive care and non-surgical periodontal therapy, and collect diagnostic images and data. It’s my goal to help each patient take control of their oral health, so I spend a lot of time offering education and encouragement.
I love spending my time off with my husband Mark and our large family. I like classical concerts, learning about holistic wellness, and growing healthy veggies year-round.
Dental Hygienist since 2007
I find great satisfaction when a patient tells me, at the end of their appointment, how clean their teeth and mouth feel. During a visit, I review a patient’s dental and overall health history, take X-rays, and clean and polish their teeth. We talk a lot about their oral health concerns. I teach each patient the best way to brush and floss and how to make good nutritional decisions. When I see a healthy smile at a recare visit, I’m thrilled.
When I’m not caring for patients, I enjoy spending time with my kids, especially volunteering at their schools.
Your Dental Assistants
Dental Assistant since 1991
I love seeing how happy a patient is at the end of restorative treatment. Those healthy, beautiful smiles make me smile. I enjoy interacting with and getting to know our patients, and develop strong friendships with many. Helping to relieve anxiety and pain, and restoring smiles, are the best parts of my work. I provide chairside assistance, to support the doctor and our patient. I also prepare and break down treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
Outside the office, I enjoy traveling, especially to visit my sister and brother in Colorado. My husband and I are big dog lovers and are involved with Chinese Shar-Pei dog rescue.
Dental Assistant since 1993
Our patients are, far and away, the best part of my work. I love caring for whole families, from the toddlers through grandparents, and being part of their lives. This is a positive, fun place and our patients contribute to that atmosphere. I help patients during visits. I prepare them to see Dr. Bond, explain what he’ll be doing, and answer questions. Then I offer chairside assistance, to make sure the doctor has everything needed while checking to make sure our patient is comfy.
I’m a longtime Naperville resident, having moved here in 1961. My husband John and I met in high school. I have two Westies, two parrots, two Green Toads, lots of fish, two adult children, and four grandchildren, too. I enjoy gardening, as well as volunteering with the USO at Midway airport.
Your Office Manager
Office Manager since 1985
I love being a partner with my husband, Dr. Mike Bond, in our dental practice. He and our team work so well with our patients, to provide gentle care that improves their smiles and well-being. I handle the business end of the practice. I am responsible for accounts payable and receivable, payroll, setting schedules, budgeting, ordering, and trends management. I also plan our continuing education for the office, so everyone’s up to date on processes and technology.
Mike and I have two adult sons, Brendan and Kevin. We’ve always had dogs, especially Bernese Mountain Dogs, and are involved in the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Northeastern Illinois. I spend a lot of time with my horse, Anya, and volunteer at St. Katherine Drexel Catholic Church.
And a few team laugh-ups!
